The European Commission has approved a draft notice providing technical clarifications on the interpretation and implementation of key EU Taxonomy Delegated Acts. The document addresses frequently asked questions regarding the Environmental Delegated Act, the Climate Delegated Act, and the Disclosures Delegated Act, which form the backbone of the EU’s framework for sustainable investments.
This draft, published in principle, aims to assist financial and non-financial undertakings in applying the technical screening criteria (TSC) and meeting transparency requirements. The final version, available in all EU official languages, will follow once translations are complete.
The notice builds on previous guidance, focusing on enhancing the usability of the Taxonomy framework, clarifying existing provisions, and supporting compliance. It highlights the Commission’s commitment to scaling up sustainable finance and easing reporting burdens through measures like digital solutions and tailored technical support.
